Thank you for an Incredible ORC!

A heartfelt thank you to all referees, umpires, volunteers, everyone who helped, all parents, coaches, and players, as well as to our sponsors! This is truly a great teamwork from the community!

With a NorCal ORC record of 632 players and 1,134 event entries—and an unexpected 3-hour, area-wide power outage to start things off—it truly felt like a mission impossible by midday on Day 1. Thanks to our amazing team - Synergy, technical officials, volunteers, and the patience of all players and parents, we were able to push through and fully recover with minimal delay by the end of Day 2.

A huge thank-you to everyone for staying calm, supportive, and flexible. Your participation, support, and contributions are what made this ORC an incredible and unforgettable event!

My original plan was to have a podium ceremony for each individual event and award the medal to each player to congratulate their hardworking and the results. However, I realized that it's super difficult to do as many players were rushed by their parents to "just get the medal (s) and let's leave". It's really a pity that the players didn't even get to enjoy the moment on the podium alongside with the fellow winners / friends. That's fine, as it has always been handled this way. However, next time, when your kids win or achieve something and when you have a chance, please remember to take a moment to congratulation them, show them how proud and happy you are, share the joy with them, and let them enjoy it when they are on the podium - they deserve it!
