RisingStars Sparring League

We initiated this league at the beginning of 2023 because:

(1) we believe all players need to have more sparring opportunities outside of group/private lessons; 

(2) we DID NOT have NorCal CRC and OLC in 2023.  Junior players need more tournament-like experiences

(3) it'd be great opportunity for players to find partners and practice with their partners; 

(4) all players got tight schedule. Rather than traveling and playing 2-3 days tournament with an uncertain schedule (including long wait in-between matches), having sparring events that it’s age/event specific such that players play meaningful games within a reasonably compressed schedule will be beneficial for all junior players.

(5) our goal is to build a community that everybody is helping and supporting each other, and continue to grow and promote badminton!
